TweetDeck Beta – Great Social App Five Stars!

This morning as I logged onto Twitter for #FollowFriday I noticed one of my followers used this application off of their computer called TweetDeck. So I got a little curious and clicked the link to see what exactly TweetDeck was.

I soon found out that it was an application for PC, MAC, or LINUX. So I was skeptical, I have tried a few applications similar to this in the past, usually they are slow, and don’t have many good features that a teen would have any use for.

But curiosity killed the cat as they say, so I launched TweetDeck. and what did I find? I found myself running a really amazing app that runs off of Adobe Air. So because it is souced out of Adobe Air, not only is it very fast, but it runs a snappy and clean interface as well.

After instlling it and only looking at the new, wonderful app for only a few seconds I started to snoop around and see what features this app had to see if it was worth keeping at all. When I snooped around I was quite amazed, actually blown away with features! This app litterally has it all for a social app, I will almost never need to go and log on to 4+ social sites every time I want to update/check statuses! Even as I type this I have Facebook status updates coming in to me so I know what my friends are doing with out having to stay on the Facebook page.

So after noticing a few awesome features, I found others! I added all of my social accounts to this one app! That is incredible! I can view anything, update anything, share anything, and even like anything right from my computer while I type this!

Spore – Amazing Game of life

Ever hear of a game called Spore? Well if not, you should read on!

I have had this game for a while now and still to this day have not seen a game like this on the market. You literally create “life” on your own planet. You start off as a cell and work your way up the food chain. Watch out, because you can be eaten or killed at any moment by a larger predator.

The way the game works is you design your “cell” which is what you play as when you start a new game. You eventually work your way out of the ocean and onto land to start living as an animal. After you have advanced enough you make intelligent beings and you will start to get to where we as humans are now. After you got this far, you can advance even more after you win wars and then you can space travel!

It is an incredible game that takes you from one life form to the next. It really makes you think about life and how to play the game. The graphics are also incredible and everything is customizable.

The creature creator (free download below) is very advanced and you can literally make what ever your heart desires for a creature! With this game engine you can make anything from people, to super smart crazy looking animals, to buildings, and space ships!

Ok well I was reading an interesting article while on Defsounds.com just now. Also I downloaded a new song, well not really new but a song that is much better than the hyped up radio edit version of this song by B.O.B.

The song made by B.O.B called Nothin On You was actually given to him by his friend Lupe Fiasco! Lupe, received no credit for B.O.B'.’s hit and I personally think that Lupe sounds a lot better in this than B.O.B.’s radio friendly version of Nothin On You.

Anyway you can download and listen to it and tell me what you think.

I think it is incredible that Lupe made this and that B.O.B.’s version is still on the Top 100 chart as I type this. This song should have been the real song and should really be on the Top 100!

Got back from Salisbury Beach a few hours ago, and what a great day for it! The beach was beautiful, clean, and free. Usually there is a $9 parking fee but it was not busy at all so parking today was free haha!

If you live in Massachusetts, Salisbury Beach is a great choice if you want to take a beach day! It is family friendly, cheap, and local!

Vector Marketing? Worth it or murk it?

Ok well I have been getting these letters in the mail, phone calls, etc. So I need a job, and guess what ANOTHER stupid letter from this “Vector Marketing” company which I soon found is really “CutCo Inc” a company that sells “forever lasting knives” and other cutlery.

So I thought to myself, well I do need a job, I wonder what this would be like and if it would be worth my time to work for this company. Turns out that it is more of a class that ends up convincing you to purchase a “starter kit” and sell it as if it’s a freaking fundraiser!

Your suppose to sell it to friends and family first and get phone numbers from them to contact other people who may want to watch a presentation you create. They say every meeting you make you get $18.50, but who are you going to really make a meeting with, and who the heck would buy this stuff??

They barley give you enough knives to sell, but hey guess what, yeah it gets better/worse. This company (CutCo Inc) now sells gardening supplies as well. So right, you should definitely make money now right? Wrong!

You still must pay for the “unpaid training” a.k.a. the class you MUST take before making any money at all. Oh get this you must pay for this unpaid class? What? Oh did I mention, yeah its better!

After the class you MUST buy a CutCo starter kit that costs $150!!! What? So you not only must pay to learn basic selling techniques that you learn in middle-school BUT you must also pay money to “work” for them!

This is wrong, so wrong…. and get this too! In 1992 a survey was taken and out of 942 surveys taken, 52% said that they made NO money or LOST money by simply trying to get a job!

If you ask me this is just a plain scam, buried in promises that no one will keep, and to cover it up for young students to think they will make enough to pay for college! Any job that you have to pay to work for is just wrong, they should pay you, not the other way around.

Good-luck to anyone with this, there is over a 65% chance of failing and losing money trying this.

Waking up every morning out here in New England will make every real New Englander think of one thing. Coffee.

No matter how you drink it, how you serve it, what flavor it is, everyone in New England will crave a coffee.

And we all know here in New England, Iced Coffee is our trademark! People literally need iced coffee here to survive a hot summer day or a groggy start to your morning. Look at that iced coffee to the left, it just looks so cool, delicious and refreshing!!!

So guess what Ashley and I are doing, we are going to grab an iced coffee for ourselves right now cause we are fending for one.

YAY for Windows 7!!!!

So I got a new laptop about a week ago for my 18th birthday and I absolutely love it! It is a Toshiba with Windows 7 and it is the best laptop I have ever had!

I was saving my pictures in folders arranged by seasons of the year, AND THEN, I discovered something cR@zY!!!

Ha-ha, ok maybe not that crazy, but still it’s pretty cool. You can actually arrange your pictures by each month, and even each day if you really want. It makes your pictures a lot more organized and clean so you can find whatever your looking for. It’s as though your seeing a timeline of your life! Look here!

Ashley and I have finally recovered pictures form her old camera thanks to her new laptop and my mega-top.

I like to call it a mega-top because well, it’s a frikin huge laptop! It has crazy horsepower under this keyboard, check out my Toshiba Satellite Laptop here if you want to know what I’m talking about.

OH My God!!! We both woke up so late today and have so much to do!!

Waking up at 2:00PM in the afternoon when my little brother comes knocking on my bedroom door means something is a little fishy.
